Maybe that's why this machine doesn't work.  Wrong files ! I  was thinking I have corrupted files. Probably the wrong files.

I noticed your earlier post with the prepart dss failed.  You seem to have original cards for this game with SB78 (A version I have no information for), what is the error you are getting when you boot the game with the cards you have?

I bought the machine as a non working machine.  Some  parts were missing.  Not sure if the person I bought it from put the correct software in it . He  just wanted to get it out the door. 
I did get  rid of the prepart dss failure by replacing the Bios. That's why I think the software I got with it is incorrect.  Now  when it boots the  mini  touchscreen display,  the  image doesn't fit the screen.  Auto adjusts does not resolve it. When I put a  bill in for credits,  it  steals the money and no  credits.  Only one button lights up on the deck. The LED  win meter and credits under the reels will not display any information.  It is in  ready to play but it is all out of sync.

From the notes I have here SA71-000-1010B5 uses OS E1.11.

Maybe you have something rare there?  I wonder if it is a video only version of the game, which I have never seen, but WMS has been known to make video only versions of some stepper games.  In any case, this does not solve your problem, but does bring an intriguing issue.

Try this with care.

I had a problem earlier this evening as the top screen was too far to the right and the bottom main TS LCD was too far to the left.

Like you, auto-adjust wouldn't bring the images to center.

So, with the machine running, I carefully removed the main LCD and placed into the open door frame.

I undid the two DVI screws and pulled it out.

When I put it back in "live", both top and bottom monitors were centered exactly!

You must pull out/ re-insert the DVI plug in a straight pull with the thumb screws fully loosened so that way no single or double pins contact as you pull it out and electricity doesn't have a chance to jump across the pins.

Same thing when re-inserting...push in firmly then tighten the thumb screws.

As for the power and touchscreen harnesses...leave them in at all times when doing this.


It worked for me only because I seen someone do this on another website forum.

I was surprised it worked so well.


Try it first with the power off and see if anything changes when you boot it up.

Sometimes it's just a case of oxidized pins and pulling off/re-inserting the DVI cable connector rubs off some of the oxidation to get a better connection.

Check J14 pin 7,  if open send to ground while power is off, boot up, see if video is fixed.

I want this game.  Looks cool.

Video being big was the wrong software in his case.  His software is an alternate version that works on 5 reel transmissive BB2.
