BB std button deck harness

I am looking to buy a standard (13 button) button deck harness that will work with my BB2. I found a button deck but no harness. Thanks!

Sometimes that doesn't make sense to me...why they just sell a button deck alone?
The regular wire harness doesn't work with a OLED deck.

Did you ask seller if he had one?

I can solder very well. I also have access to automated crimping machines. If i knew the pinouts and terminal/housing types, i could easily make one. I would swear that i had seen the pinout a month or so ago but now i can't find it.

Okay good....let me get the numbers of the 4 Molex housings and pins you need.
The harness is 35-36" long....make it 3 feet long and you're fine.
I need a few minutes to get some numbers .
Make an account with Mouser.com...you can go on as a guest check out if you want.
That's where we'll get the Molex connectors from...unless you're in some other country? haha

I am in the US (Indiana). I usually use Digikey but Mouser is fine. I might be able to snag some pins/housings from work. We use a LOT of molex connectors. Mostly single row connectors though.

Brokenticker, people have had problems with LA Slots....have you had good luck with them?

Anyways kazee68, here's the Mouser numbers...just missing one 18-pin header #..it'll be on drawings for the 20-pin receptacle though.

Basically you're making two harnesses...one for the button deck switches and the other for the button lamps.

Backplane end...>>>
You need an 18-pin and a 20-pin female housing containing male pins.
20-pin housing is:571-2-794542-0
18-pin is:571-1-794542-8
36 female pins needed for two connectors: 538-46012 3142


Button end...>>>
You need two 18-pin male housings containing female pins. One housing is a black micro Molex.
18-pin housing is:538-43025-1800
18 pins needed each kind are:571-158631 71 and 538-43030-0007.

Wiring should be 3 feet length of 22ga. sized stranded wire.
So 3 ft x 36 = 108 feet...at least a dozen feet more for mistakes and a bag of small zip ties.
