How do I replace the payout screen's light on a Bally's S5500

I have a Black Gold Bally machine. Its payout light is flickering (at the top). How do I replace the light? What kind of light should I order? Also, how do I get access to replace the light?

Are you referring to the fluorescent bulb behind the award glass on the top part of the cabinet?.

Open the main door. At the bottom of the award glass is a metal bracket attached to the glass. That bracket sits in a groove. Lift up on the bracket and glass and pull out towards you. Then slide downward. Hang on carefully . Here you will find the bulb. On the backside of the bulb bracket there is 3 fluorescent starters. Those can be your problem as well if you find the bulb is not the problem.
