Type 25 SP944

Using SP 944 (Bonus Sizzling 7/Game Type 25) with a SS7090.  Two things I cant seem to resolve.  First is when you press MAX BET, 3 coins come up for play but the reels don’t spin.  You must pull the handle or Press the Spin Button (2 step process).  Any other SP chips I use all will spin the reels on a MAX BET button.
Second, when in the Self Test Mode, I am unable to make any changes in the ZERO sections (ie 0/5 Credit Option, 0/6 Bell, O/7, 0/8 Bill Acceptor Pay, and 0/9.  The Spin Reel never lights to allow any changes.  Once the Coins Played Window reaches 10,11,12 …..39 the Spin Reel Lights and changes can be made.  I have a hunch it may be something in the Dip Switch settings and the SP944.  (Just a guess).  Thanks, JIM

The Program Summary Report would tell you everything you'd want to know about your SP chip.

DIP switches 1, 2, and 8 have no function for this SP chip.

Also, you cannot make changes in the ZERO sections if there's credits on the machine.

That SP chip has a New Max Bet Autospin Option <0> [39] at the time it came out.

I use SP944/SS7091 with my bonus sizzling 7 and have never had any problems.  Try switching dip #4.

Thanks, I DO have the program summary but didn’t pay attention to O (39).  All fixed. Most all other SP chips that I have do not require any changes for an auto spin which is why I really wasn’t paying attention. But I got it fixed thanks for your help.

Very interesting, I have never had to mess with that setting.
