button deck wont change lights when pressed

hi all
just got this slot. installed a battery and it started up after going though the jackpot key and test button routine. i noticed the button lights dont change when changing bets the screen changes but not the button lights. also i have the top glass but need the wood bezel that holds it in.

So it's working correctly now?  I was looking at your picture and it shows 5 lines and 2 credits per line buttons lit, but the screen shows 25 and 1.

i think all buttons light all the time , there's a youtube video with someone playing a slant top of Kingpin and thats what it looks like happens you need to watch the screen to tell you what you are betting. this is the newest slot i own and i dont really gamble but do go to the casinos alot with my sister (the gambler) and i thought the button lit only when pressed for your bet but maybe that came later as slot machines evolved,  its funny the times  buttons say 1 2 10 15 20 but on the screen it will say 1 2 3 4 5 times which sounds right to me so i might need to change the button labels if i can find them.

They lite if there are enough credits on machine to play them.  I think spininc sells sheets of button legends.
