The dipswitch on the TITO board is what needs to be changed to resolve your handpay issue.

You were correct, with both switches ON it was trying to add 10,000 credits. I changed the switches to (1 ON) and (2 OFF) and now it adds 1000 credits each time. TITO is working fine!!!! The counters in the top section eventually catch up and stop, I'll disconnect them next time I have the glass off.

Is there a setting to make the added credits (via change button) apply instantaneously on the Bally S6000 like they do on an IGT S2000 with a TITO board?

Try pressing the max bet or spin button after you press the service button
