Easy Tall box mod In an hour with no cabinet alteration

I am doing this with a SMLD cabinet which has a sloped cabinet top so it is a little more challenging, especially seeing I do not want to drill in to the cabinet.

With the mount in the candle hole. it will not let the monitor drop enough.

So I have to move the mount toward the front of the cabinet. In order to do that I have to make a level platform.

The plan is to screw that platform down to the candle mount points in the cabinet, the platform will be about 10in long by 6.5in wide and level.

The articulating Arm mount will then be screwed down to the platform with 4 screws.

I am currently making it out of 3/4 in pine, the end plan would be to make it out 1/8in steel or 1/4in aluminum that I can drill and tap 1/4-20 to mount the arm.

Currently prototyping with a 3yr old donated 32in smart TV that weighs about 5-10ibs. another cool part is you can stream TV on it while playing games.
