Trying to upgrade G20 to Fam 020.

I got a new AVP 3.0 660 brain box. I have the Fam 020 show boots and Diag 124 key.
 I’ve tried a different diag key but it makes no difference.

Do a total clear with your fam20 DIAGUNVXXXX diag usb key.   If you have fam20 boots installed, you have to put both the diag key and ekey7 in the protected USB ports and ensure the latch behind the metal door, usually with paper jammed in the switch has the paper removed.

If your machine won't boot with the diag key and gives an authentication failure on the diag key itself, your diag key isn't write protected.  If the fam20 diag key isn't perfect, and installed on a usb key with a write protect switch it won't ever validate to get to the clear/install OS/games setup applications when booting with the diag key.
