Triple Diamond Reel Strips and Pay Lights

Hello,

I have a Triple Diamond game that I recently replaced chips in to get working (SP1272, SS6987). It’s a 3 line, 3 reel machine. Once I got the chips in and the reels spinning, some of the wins didn’t seem to make sense to me and I’m wondering if I have the incorrect reel strips. I already made sure that the ones I have are aligned with the notches in the reel baskets. Would anyone be able to confirm if these are correct, in the wrong order, or which ones I should purchase for this game?

The reel strips I have now are the shiny metallic look ones with numbers:

848 580 00
848 579 00
848 709 00

The last one seems off to me since a lot of other ones I’ve seen just count up by 100,1000, etc.

One other question, does anyone have part numbers or links for lights to put in the credit window and payline lights? See attached image for missing lights in 1/3 payline on left

Swap reels 1 & 2 (or strips).  They should be ABC.

I swapped the strips (579 reel 1, 580 reel 2, 709 reel 3), and with that combo I’m still seeing wins/losses that don’t seem to make sense. First picture for example won 5 credits, but doesn’t seem like a combo that should have. Whereas the second picture seems like it should have paid but didn’t. I may just also be misunderstanding the winning combos but this seems odd to me

Post a pic of the 3 strips. Reel strip 1 should have more symbols than 2 and 3.

Based on your Reel Chip .... you will have a PAR sheet.
Does the strip numbers match the PAR .....

It sounds like you might be using strips for a 3 or 5 line game vs the single line version.

Are the reel baskets original .... Slant reel baskets fit into an upright just fine but the knotch for the strips is in a different place.

It's a 3 line game.  Here are 5 & 9 line strips I think they are the same for 3 line:

Here are my reel strips, they look like they match up with your picture as well, just in a different order. Looks like I may need to put my third one on the first reel instead

I swapped the strips to match with sixcardmark’s picture and now it seems like they’re all lining up properly. I also did verify that the reel baskets have the “UP” item printed on them for upright cabinet. Thanks everyone.
