Care to elaborate as to why so we may be able to find a way around it?  We have members working on ways around drm and around server issues for networked games. In this industry one should never just let anything go. If people did that we would not have lap games running, lottery only avp games running, custom sound on s2000. The home use slot industry is constantly in a state of change you never know when the impossible becomes possible.

I am sure there are many on here that can explain why Video Lottery Terminal software does not work without being hooked up to the casino server. 
Not worth the effort to try to "get around" the limitations of that type of software.  So many other games will run on this platform, and just because the person who sold the machine sent that CF card with it, does not mean that it's easily doable outside of it's natural habitat.
