Host disabled error

I am back and still looking for help. I have not figured out how to get rid of the “Host Diasabled” lockup that I get after configuring my Aristocrat Variant/Veridian machine running MK7 software. After reading someone else’s post about getting this error on their mk6 machine, I am thinking maybe I have not cleared the RAM properly. I replaced the internal batteries recently. Then I ran the setchip and game software. Prior to setting jurisdiction, etc. it has me clear the sram. Is that different from the regular Ram clear that needs to occur? If so, can someone describe the process of clearing the RAM on an aristocrat variant/Veridian running mk7 software? Thanks!

I'm not the best with Aristocrat, but what Jurisdiction do you have installed?

Okay - I changed the jurisdiction to Nevada, and now it seems to be working.

So it was the jurisdiction! Certain Jurisdictional chips especially customized ones such as “The Big M Casino” may require certain player tracking server communications for the machine to function. I tried one of those on my Alpha since I had it lying around and I got the same Machine Disabled error.
