TITO Setup

Hello,

I just installed a TITO@Home with WiFi.

Everything works fine except the bill validator will not accept the voucher.

I have cleared the memory twice and checked all cable connections. I even check the continuity of each cable from the bill validator connector all the way to the back pane board.

My next thought was to replace the back pane board.

Thoughts?

Have you considered that the BV is simply not reading the barcodes? You have not mentioned what BV you are using. MEI SC units can have the barcode sensor enabled or disabled. An upstacker head will only read tickets upside down when installed upright.

I have a WBA-13-SS bill validator. I am unsure of what software version it comes with. I have tried feeding the voucher every which way and it wont accept it.

Should I buy the new Bill Acceptor Updated Chip v3.80, I am unsure if that would make a difference?

WBA heads are interchangeable. If you have another WBA that accepts tickets, try swapping the heads only and check the results.

I had the original one that came with the slot machine and I swapped out the heads with it.

Guess what! That worked, it now accepts the ticket and bills with no issues  :thank_you:

Is the head reprogrammable?

No, the programming is on the transport. Heads can be refurbished sometimes by replacing the o rings and calibrating but sometimes the sensor is just bad. Member Sunrise Side can probably help you with that.
