Country Party sounds eproms
« on: December 29, 2025, 07:13:45 am »
I was wondering if anyone could lend advise or point me in the right direction. i have a "rom sound 0" error on a Country party machine. i did remove checked the pins and replaced them no change. i was hoping that someone could put me in touch with sombody or a vendor that could replace or write a new set of roms to fix my machine if one of more or mine are bad.

Thanks Lester

Did you recently change the ROMs/game?  Have they worked before?  Before you assume the ROMs are bad, is JP2 in the correct position?

The ROMs your looking for are for the WMS dotmation game? Do you have the ability to burn your own Eproms?

Thanks for the responses. please pardon my ignorance in this i am new to this.  sorry for the lack of details in the initial post i was trying to keep it brief.  Playlax01 to my knowledge they are the original Roms, they had worked prior to the cabinet being moved and me acquiring the machine. i did check the JP2 Pin placement per suggestions i found browsing on this forum i believe it is in the correct position. i get the test bong on startup then 1 fault chirp right after. with the "rom sound 0" display.    Dragster73 i do not have the ability to test or write my own Eproms at this point i am not opposed to getting the equipment if needed i would need some guidance on what to purchase if so

Thanks Lester

I though I had the ROM Images saved for this, but apparently I do not. I do have and EPROM burner and can make the chip for you if you can find the ROM Images.

Thanks I seemed to have gotten past the start up and now I can't seem to clear the machine from the dot matrix showing "calling attendant" any ideas what could be triggering the attendant mode . Could it be the battery, door latch I looked through the manual and I didn't see any procedure for canceling it after also after sitting on for a while I closed the door and it went back showing the "rom sound 0" code again I left it sit.with the power switched off then it came back up and I was able to get into the admin/test settings again

Thanks in advance  Lester
