I've been trying to repair and still haven't had luck. The game isn't being displayed on the screen. But the speaker in mine was disconnected I do believe they are suppose to make some noise. If you kept yours and got it working are you able to share some technical information off of it, to help me repair mine?

Chris-social, can we connect and talk somehow? My machines still broken and haven't been able to figure out why I don't have an image displaying but my power works and we can compare wiring/boards if needed.

However, as we always say here, GON machines are not fixable. Unless you figure it out! LOL
Im happy to post anything from my machine while I have it.
My monitor is out too. Im going to put caps in it today and cross my fingers.
Im not really hopeful though, there is no life from the board. Unless its voltage regulator I don’t think there is any hope.

I'll gladly take some photos of my power supply and tell you how those fuses are wired. My machine powers on and the lights all work but my crt is blue-ish and dosent display the game. I can measure any voltages you may need aswell. Would you mind uploading a photo of your main board so I can compare it to mine to start and make sure I have all the appropriate ram/rom chips for the game and display.

On that photo you uploaded I can tell you are missing one 120v condenser it should be in that empty slot right below the other big condenser and you have something plugged into one of those 3 plugs which I do not have. What is plugged in there?

Right. I was unplugging everything until I found out what was causing it to trip my GFI. Im not worried about lights working, Im trying to figure out why HOT AC is coming in and going directly to the switch and why Neutral is fused.
I certainly can upload a picture of the board. See attached.
The item plugged into the outlet is the top fluorescent light. I have no idea why its wired that way.

Regarding your image, you need to install a capacitor kit before you can troubleshoot the game. You need to know what the game is telling you and you need a working monitor for that.

Sorry I thought I replied to this the other day but later I'll upload what wires I have on my switch and where they go for you. On another note I have installed new capacitors and even thought my crt turns on and dosent display I have tried hooking up an external lcd monitor and still have no output display from the game board.

First thing would be to clip onto the 5v lead on any IC and verify you have 5v. There are two onboard voltage regulators. One is the silver round one, the other is the black square with 3 legs screwed to the same heat sink. One is 5v for the computer board, the other is for whatever else they use DC voltage on, probably 12v.

As for the monitor, I spent 3 hours getting mine to have a very basic and troubled image. It took a cap kit, I had to remove and reflow solder on several resistors. I now suspect my green gun is shorted so Im going to make an adapter so I can connect it to my rejuvenator.
Any large resistor on a G07 monitor needs to be tested and reflowed.
The transistors all need to be tested using the diode setting on a DVM, especially the two mounted to the big metal heat sink in the middle of the board. You also need to test both Fusible resistors…the one next to the little fuse and the other little white one on the high voltside. They are notorious for going out. You also need to test the HOT and the voltage regulator.

Don’t forget, these boards do not self-discharge the anode cup.

There are many videos on getting G07 boards working. Mikes Arcade worked on a G07-FBO specifically.
If you are using an LCD monitor are you using a converter board?

Yes I was using a converter board to a lcd monitor to verify if it was a game board issue or crt issue and still didn't display an image so it looked like I wasn't getting a video output signal. Also for yours do you need a wiring diagram for the main switch or fuses?

Well, I don’t really need a diagram at this point, the AC wires coming in are color coded so if I get a good picture of the left side of the inside where all the wires come in I will probably get the answer to my question.

As an update to my machine. I found 3 ICs that were blown to bits and one of the Thyristors is dead short. Look at these ICs.
I also found one capacitor that was ballooned on the top. Someone definitely connected the AC piwer connector to the incorrect mate that goes directly to the game board. I ordered parts for the MC2222s that are toasted but it’s highly likely more ICs are toasted. Definitely not worth the time or investment but Im going to give it one try.

This confirms mine is wired backwards. It must be a factory anomaly because all the wires are tightly bound just like yours, same standard…blue, brown green.
However, your brown goes to the fuse, as it should. My brown and blue are reversed.

Very interesting, I assume it would have been used before so unsure how it was being used wired incorrectly. Everything on mine appears to be wired correctly only thing not plugged in is the speaker and unsure what wires go their. I also still need to test what you suggest before.

Well, in most instances AC polarity doesn’t matter. Since both AC wires go to the isolation transformer it isn’t the cause of destruction in my instance…..I don’t think.
What happened is someone unplugged all of the connectors and when they put them back together they connected the AC 4 wire to the game board connector. Technically those should have used connectors that could not be connected together to prevent that. Im sure new machines use a different count of pins and leave one unused to prevent connecting the wrong lines together.

Also a pic of the two connectors that were reversed. All they had to do was look at the wire colors to match them up but they didn’t. The connector with yellow and gray wires is AC and some of the wires on the right go directly to the game board! Poof!

Well, back to the problem where NLG rotates my image 45 degrees. I will try to fix.

Here are some photos of my board. Below is the ic you showed and mine look physically good compared to yours. I also tried finding that black 3 pin voltage transformer, the one picture is what I checked and all 3 pins have 12vdc on them.

I now think that might be a thyristor in my second photo which I was getting 12v on all 3 pins.

You are good then. I was wrong, the only voltage regulator is the round one. The black one is indeed a thyristor.
However, you should have 5v on the main board, you would have to clip on to the computer chip or an IC you know is powered on all the time.

Thanks for the pics. Unfortunately after replacing all known fried ICs my board still has no signs of life.
