Regarding spinning the reels.

The reels can be activated manually by pulling the handle release drop lever stop forward.

This stop lever is sticking out vertically from the top of the handle gearbox that’s attached directly to the case.

Pull the lever forward and pull the handle. If everything is right with the machine the reels should spin.
In rare instances this could set the machine to receive a coin.
