SG88M slot coin in and lamp comm error

Got the game to do a initialization, reels spin and line up same symbols. This one shows cherry/cherry/cherry.
Next the display shows insert coin. The COIN IN button lights up briefly then turns off and display is stuck on "LAMP COMM ERROR".
If I press the reset button the game starts over, CH,CH,CH, "insert coin" back to LAMP COMM ERROR.

I was thinking the comm error was because the insert coin only lights briefly then COMM error again.

The coin in button has a #161 lamp in it. I replaced it and got the same rinse and repeat.

What am I missing?

What happens when you disconnect the coin comparator?  I don't have a cc, so mine initializes the BA and starts the game.

Looking for a $1 cc!

This is all done on a SIGMA board test station not an actual machine.
It does have a coin in switch option of pulse and mechanical for testing.
I'm not sure what the functions are on the actual game.
The SIGMA board he sent us was so soaked in mouse piss and shit
So I am using his software in a replacement board we had on the shelf.

I think the board is detecting that the lamp driver board is missing altogether. Is that game in a treasure wheel body that has a neon lamp driver?

Our new theory is my tester box for Sigmas will not work with this board so we are sending it to the mouse/piss board customer and have the customer plug it into his game.
