This came out of my hopper... ?

I was doing a game change in my Bally Game Maker. I cashed out the quarters. The hopper stopped with a "hopper jam" after it spit this out! I had to put a handful of quarters back in to complete the cash out and it worked fine. Anyone know what this mystery "coin" is?

Oh, absolutely: highly recognizable, it could only be one of two things:

1. The intake valve spring base alignment washer from a 3-cylinder 45 hp Szekely radial aircraft engine from the early 1930's.

or

2. ...something else.

And... drum roll... the winner issssssssssss SOLID SILVER for his #2 answer! It was in fact "something else."  :yes:
And, more credit goes to BROKENTICKER (I won't ask!) for the specific answer, which was that center star holder piece, held on by the screw that had fallen off and was mixed in with a pile of quarters.
The loser here is ME, for being a lazy ass and not opening the door of the slot to look!  :duh: I would have eventually though!
But hey... it made for a fun Saturday night post.

Oh and honorable mention goes to rokgpsman for correctly identifying the quarter.  :rotfl:
