S2000/AC Coin settings - need help or manual

Hello. Knowing the AC Coin is far and few in between , I have seen there is a few machines and questions out there and maybe someone has located some info over the last few years?
I bought a AC Coin Happy Slot as a nonworking machine and was looking for the settings for these machines. I changed board and battery in upper cabinet and coin battery on 1270 MPU and removed the Varta battery and I have it running to a point where the settings are not correct and throws an error. "Bonus Display Error" I'm thinking the Bonus is not enabled and needs to be enabled? The settings look Similar to a S2000 but not sure what changes AC Coin  made with IGT engineers for the bonus feature. Thank YouTim

It's people using the WYSIWYG version of the text editor, and not really knowing what they're doing.  It's unfortunately enabled by default.  I turned it off for my account as I prefer to use the old (standard) method of typing posts.

You can disable it for your account by visiting the Look and Layout section of your profile, unchecking the bottom checkbox ("Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default."), and clicking the "Change profile" button to save your changes.

Thanks Dave! I changed that setting. That drove me crazy not knowing how that happens.

The Varta battery is NEEDED on the 1270 MPU, and could be part of the problem.

Only on the 500 series boards (P/N 7551501, 7551502, 7551504) can it be removed without hindering operation.

There is a bypass for the green battery on the 1270 MPU that works very nice. It's a stickied topic in the S2000 and Vision Games forum topic header. Very simple to do...

I removed the green battery and the triac and that gets me to a "display error" message. In the menu = display disabled . Need a key chip for a SB101635. Thank You Tim

On the 1270 board you remove the green battery and the transistor at board location U16. On the 500 series boards you just remove the battery

I have a lcd display on the way for the top cabinet.  Mine is missing the display. Maybe why I am unable to proceed any further? I will report back.

It's up and running! Replaced the coin battery and removed the Green Varta and the U16 on the MPU in the lower cabinet, replaced the coin battery in the upper cabinet MPU, replaced the missing parts on the MPU in the upper cabinet (bought as non working machine and did not know that there was parts missing), replaced the missing display in the upper cabinet, followed and cleared the errors on the upper cabinet display and it fired up! Still searching for any documentation for any AC Coin machine. Thank You Tim
