Hey, guys, just a heads up...

After all the hand-wringing, and consternation, I changed the battery, borrowed a hopper and (with reservations) hit the "on" switch.  I am WAY pleased to say that the darned thing booted, did a 61, then ran like a champ.

I will now search out the parts to make it original, and enjoy the heck out of it.

I have to say that I am humbled by the help offered on the forum.  This is something I'm really pleased to have discovered and joined.

Any chance the person that loaned you the hopper would let you put your hopper in their machine? I don't see any harm it could cause, as your machine was fixed instantly with the "good" hopper. Trying your hopper in the other machine would confirm or eliminate the hopper plugs.  :yes:

Hi

The hopper came from another S+ machine that I have.  This machine didn't have a hopper when I got it.  I need a bunch of parts and will post that as a classified.
