The LED's should strobe non-stop from left to right then back to left.
I do have that currently.

I do have battery voltage at U45 points.

Coin comparator only works without the board in place.  Once I seat the board and power up, the comparator does not click and no longer functions. Nothing on the door works except the 115v light tubes.

Update:
CN3 on my backboard is empty.  Is there a harness for the door segment displays that plug in here?

All the data for the door transmits through one ribbon cable that plugs into the CPU board backplane. See photos.

Ok

Any other things I should check?
I need to find out why the comparator stops working after the board is installed.
I need to trace the pin to the board from ribbon cable.

The comparitor stops working because it's getting an INHIBIT signal from the CPU board. If the CPU LED's are strobing the the CPU is ready to run.

The main door LED's may be out due to lack of power. Do you measure the correct voltage on the CPU board test pins (frontside-left)?

It may be one of the two door switches are not being made. If the switches haven't been jumpered out the door must be closed and locked to place the CPU in play mode.

Before replacing CPU I Chad correct voltages at test pins.
I’ll verify tonight.

I have 24v to the door bulbs.

Here are my voltages
Yellow to Black - 5.07
Red to Green - 11.82
Orange to Green - 30.06
Blue to White - 4.41

The door cherry switch at the top functions via meter, the door lock switch has a LED that turns on an off when I use the lock. So I think those are good.

Voltages look good.

There's one more cherry switch for the drop door on the left side.

Are the CPU LEDS Strobing?

I did check the drop door switch also.

Yes, the LEDs are going left and right.

As suggested by Pitts256 I'm going try and ring the CPU pins to test points on the board to check traces.

I've followed the schematic for the chip and have all the points except for Vcc 5v and ground since they are not noted for the U46.
Those two should be easy to find.

With the help of Pitts256 we were able to save another Universal Ultra machine.

I had to add a new CPU and resistors then Randy fixed a few traces and bad sound chips.  Once I got the board back I was able to find and fix a few other issues with my machine caused by years of not being used I think.

I haven't hit a big jackpot yet, but the hopper pays and enjoyable to play.

Thanks again goes out to Pitts256 (Randy) for the help.
