Hello, I recently acquired a 3-reel, Triple Lucky 7's machine. It is a multi-dom (.25, .50, $1, $2) machine and while it is functional, there are a few issues that I was hoping that some of you may be able to provide me with some guidance in resolving them....

Issue #1) The BV bezel is broken and I need to figure out what is required to replace it. Only the top section remains. The bottom 1/2 is broken off.

Issue #2) The printer appears to be disabled and the machine will only perform a hand-pay. I have tried to get the printer to work, but I appear to be missing something.

Finally, with this being a multi-dom machine, is it possible to change the denom values? Meaning, if I wanted to make this a $1, $2, $5, $10 machine, is that possible? If so, how would one go about doing this?

Again, since I am new to slot ownership, any guidance or advice you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated...

Unless your planning to run an Illegal casino, you may be better off with the hand pay. You will not be wasting tickets for nothing. Now if your planning on getting a TITO, then you want the printer to work. As far as changing denom. you need a set chip to do that. Congratulation on getting a S2000. One of the easiest machines made.

Thanks for the reply! I was beginning to think I was all alone out here

... First and foremost, nothing but a single slot in the game room for now. I am curious as that since the device has a printer and it clearly states (insert bill or ticket), I assume that since casinos run w/ TITO, that this is not some that would typically work in a stand-alone machine, and the reason that cash-outs are not functional any other way, other then handpay? or am I over thinking this?

Secondly, what set chip would one need to do this? Again, I'm scratching my head with the over abundance of information that is available out there, and yet I can't seem to find what I'm looking for

The base chip(s) that are on the board are:

SB100207 & SG000508 1 & 2(I believe as the labels are smeared)
Version Chip: VS011NX5

Again, any information you and the others can help me with would be greatly appreciated. The machine was a great buy, I couldn't pass it up, even though it wasn't the game that I wanted if I was going to buy one. Therefore, if I can make a change here and there, I can get there, and learn along the way.

Maybe a little clarification on the issues:

Issue #1 any one of the vendors listed on the home page should be able to help you with a replacement bezel.

Issue#2 If you want to enable the printer you will need a key chip to be able to do that. That being said your machine will then print useless paper strips with a logo on them, they will not work in the machine without purchasing additional hardware (TITO). TITO will enable the slot to think it is attached to a casino's central system and will then acknowledge the printed tickets. That is why Rockin said your better off with hand pay.

Issue #3 yes it is possible to change machine denominations again a key chip will be required. I recommend a key 45 as it will work with your machine no matter which MPU it has. You will need a new denomination sticker to match whatever choices you want, again any of the vendors here should be able to help you out with a key chip and a replacement denom sticker.

I suggest you take some time and read some of the sticky posts to familiarize yourself with TITO and key chipping a machine.

Even better many of the vendors sell kits to allow you to change the theme that is more appealing to you and most are reasonably priced.

Point taken... I have had a 4 day weekend, so I neglected to remember that today was Monday, my apologies

I have already take the liberty of checking out a few of the sponsoring pages as well as the classified section while I have been waiting. I did find a video on TITO a bit ago, and between explanation's and watching it, I think I know have a better idea of what to expect. So, I'll table that for now since I only have one machine at the moment. The other guy had a whole game room full (lol) that were apparently all networked, so that makes sense now.

I have some ideas in my head about what I would like to do with the machine, so I will most definitely reach out to see what some of the sponsor sites can do to assist.

TITO will work with one machine or a whole room full that's the great thing about it.

About changing the denom remember if your goal is to play the machine and you set the denomination at relative high $5 or $10 your going to need a boat load of Benjamins just to be able to play a few rounds at max credit. Even if you reset the odds to an easy 96% (key chip) it is still a slot machine and it is going to take your money. I would leave them where they are for a while. Yes you can always open the door and get your money back but it's easier just to play.

What? You mean you wouldn't recommend $100 denom x 3 lines?

I see your point though.... That was my original questioning around the printer/tito option. A couple of tickets below hand-pay territory are always handy to have laying around for that very same reason. Besides, I'm of the mindset that if it's there, you might as well make sure it works

I will reach out to a couple of the places tomorrow. Ohio River answered the phone when I called, which was completely unexpected. However, they said they don't sell kits for the S2000, so I will keep looking.

Ultimately, I would like to do a Sizzling 7's or something with a stand-alone progressive if possible. Since it's a 16" top, I would think that there would have to be something out there for it.... Therefore, the search is on...

You might look thru the Classified Ad forum here on NLG to see if there is something similar to what you want, or something that indicates the seller may have what you want. Or you could place your own Want To Buy ad in there too, someone here may have a kit for you at a good price.

Two observations I have made so far.
1) I think the slot machine addiction has already started consider yourself warned

There is lots of bling to add to these machines, among them are progressive controllers, TITO, you might want to ask for a sentry and they might throw in a bezel with the purchase. (search on sentry) even coin handling is an option. No need to rush in and get everything at once, slow steps and changes bring satisfaction. You say it's only one machine, will you be able to tell me that a year from now? Are you a gambling man
2) WTB can only be posted by contributing members, but there is no other site like this where you can obtain so much information regarding home slot use but I will say a WTB in the classified section will usually result in a better quicker and more reliable purchase than SheBay. That is your option we will still help you either way.

Thank you to all that have helped thus far. I have already been searching the classifieds to see what's out there, but a WTB ad of my own may be the route to go there. I've never had a great deal of luck with "SheBay", therefore I tend to stay as far away from that place as possible, unless I simply can't find what I need somewhere else.

For some reason the 16" tops are not as popular in the home market. I find that it is much easier finding the roundtops or 9" top kits. You can replace the top of your cabinet to roundtop or choptop (AKA 9" top) if you can't seem to find a suitable kit. The cost is reasonable and gives you access to more kits. Jason (user Yoeddy1) has been selling off some of his "Minty" S2000 kits here. He is VERY picky about the stuff he has, so everything he sells is about as good as you are going to find. Many times 16" kits are cheaper because there is less demand. I would look around and see what is available before you go through that change.

I think the top box is actually inexpensive (under $50 I would guess), shipping it to you is what kills you. User CVslotss usually has all these cabinet parts around, pm her and I'm sure she will get back to you with a fair offer.
