S+ RWB Deluxe

I have a RWB Deluxe, that has been working good, until about a week ago. I replaced the play buttons with LED kit. when I was done I turned machine on, oopps I forgot to reconnect the display, made sound as if the cash out button was pressed. I shut down reconnected the display, and powered back up. Everything seemed to be working fine. reset the cashout as now it was showing on display.(No hopper so it's handpay only on machine). I went to feed a bill in and noticed bezel light not on, will not accept, but powers up and does it's test when machine is turned on.
DBV is a 200

Reseated DBV many times. no luck
Swapped cans,  no luck either
Checked make sure lights in DBV were on, they are. 2 solid red LEDs
Checked connections all tight.
Checked fuses all good.
Tried another head and transport, same condition
Tried another good DBV Power supply, again same condition.
Swapped the front DBV bezel, same condition.
Swapped out MPU, cleared 61 code, again same condition.


After all that, it's leaving me 2 conclusions, possibly Motherboard or Power Supply. Unless anyone else has other suggetions

Have you gone in and checked if the b/v is enabled? Maybe just a set chip is all it needs.

lol type all that and forgot to mention that i did check that. Yes it's enabled
but I will check again to be double certain

Gonna run a set chip again, #9 not even showing up on self test. odd....

DBV is set  same condition

It seams that I had the same and it was the motherboard
If you have a spare it cannot hurt.

Not really a spare, but have another from machine not using at the moment. Guess I'll try that tomorrow or Sunday. was hoping to avoid it. lol

I'm guessing (with my luck) a slant top S+ M/B won't work in a upright. only because I have a couple of slants with no DBV's would make a nice swap. lol

Yes they are different and will not work in a upright do you need a upright motherboard or slant top?

upright. got another upright that works I am not using. If that works then I'll be needing a new M/B

It was indeed the M/B. Swapped it out run the set chip and working like it should

Great, glad it was that except that the motherboard is hard to find at a decent price

Yeah the are, been hunting. probably gonna need 2 of em. Think Barcrest might be having similar issue.
