Stars and Bars 5500

Looking for some help setting up the top win for this machine. there is no legend on the top prize, but a LCD behind the glass. I replaced the battery, and ran through settings. The machine is working with coins only DBV still red. I was wondering if anyone knows how to set up the top prize or progressive maybe? Looks like it is powered but only has 1 dot on it lit up the image is a similar machine, but it has top legend on it.

Does the bill acceptor cycle at all? The progressive displays can be setup , but it takes some work to program it. Need to see pics of the progressive controller  inside the machine in order to determine what version it is.

The bill acceptor does cycle, just won't accept bills. Red light on. Thought about taking pictures, but forgot my phone. this is for a friend so I don't have machine in front of me at the moment.

Un latch and flip open the top of the DBV head and clean the optics top and bottom with a water dampened cloth. May try doing a RAM clear of the MPU if cleaning the head does not work.

I didn't mention I did a ram clear, but shall try cleaning optics next time I'm there
