Parts needed for .25 coin

My Dad has a s-plus Haywired and wants to set it up for quarters, looks like he has the .25 hopper, but needs the door hardware. Not sure what to buy.

Looks like he needs the coin head, coin comparator, coin optics, bracket for coin comparator/optics, coin chute to direct coins to hopper and wiring pigtail that goes into the molex plug right there next to where the comparator mounts to provide power for the comparator/optics

You can make a jumper for the coin in harness and not need coins. Just 4 wires to jump together, then just play from bill validator. A few settings to prevent cashing out and making it hand pay.

Appears that it doesn't need coins today.  I'm thinking he wants to make it into a pocket change piggy bank?  There's nothing like the old school sound of coins hitting the tray either.   :cool_thumb_up:

Thank you, my Dads 81 so he likes to hear the coins drop, plus when the other bills are changed again, I'm guessing only old bills and $1.00 will work in the Bill validator.

I understand Haywire is one of the more popular or sought-after S+ game themes. Curious why the strips in this Haywire are different from the strips shown in another Haywire thread here:

ok, thanks. The OP said Haywired and I didn't recognize anything in the photos that would id the machine specifically, except maybe the strips partially shown in one photo. Is that how you id'd it?

The logo symbol for Double Jackpot Haywire is kind of unique and it gives it away.

There were 3 haywire themes for the S+

Haywire
Double Jackpot Haywire
Haywire Deluxe

Incidentally, if you have a Double Diamond glass kit and install it along with Double Jackpot Haywire, you basically have Double Diamond Haywire!  It was one of the few mix/match sets that would work right.

I didn't see that one listed in the S+ bible game list, maybe I missed it, or is it a custom game some casino created like that Flamingo Nickel World machine with coffin top design? Does the Nickel Mania machine have the Haywire game software installed and just uses different glass and strips?

I believe all the "mania" games were IGT's wide area progressive jackpots.  Quartermania, Nickelmania, Nevada Nickels, are some of the names I remember.  It has been a while so I may be mistaken.
