What gets me is that NV power is asking for money, and the state is allowing it to happen because they built infrastructure that won't be consumed. This is total BS.

First off the infrastructure to get the power to the casino will be used - just cause you buy power from another company the wires that get it there are the same.

Secondly if I change all my bulbs from incandescent to LED - and drop my power bill will they still charge for unconsumed infrastructure, how about if I cease business (ie Binions no longer rents rooms) ??? my power drops.... they can't possibly charge for this.....
