what chip advantages

I currently have a 3 coin single line double diamond s2000..using sb001000 and  ss3664, sg363 and version 011nx4, running on a 504 board...i do not have the sb100054 chip...what will my advantages be using the sb chip vs the ss chip, or any other chips, other than the payout percent?


i also have a 3 coin single line double diamond haywire s2000, using sb001000, ss4263, sg363 and version 011nx4, on a 502 board...i dont see a sb listing for the game but i believe it is sb100156???  again, what would the advantages be of changing any of these chips?

The biggest advantage to having the correct SB chip is setting payback percents from the programming instead of having to get a specific chip for a specific payback percent

thats kinda what i was thinking also...the chip i have in is a 97% i believe, which is probably about as high as the sb would go..maybe 98%? which alone is probably not worth the effort of getting the sb chip, altho nothing wrong with having it for future needs i guess...it has nothing do do with sound or backlit vs non backlit reels makes a difference? both sets of strips are backlit and both on regular reels... i only have 1 set of lit reels and the gear but not sure which machine i would put them

I can't think of any other advantages to having the S2000 SB chip. It shouldn't affect your ability to use backlot reels or a sound simm if you choose to

Great!! thank you very much for the info...any reason that i should change the sg or version chips? i dont really like the vfd display but i dont think it will make any difference due to the ss chip being used

The SG363's are the best for your game themes, that being standard 3 reel up to 5 paylines. Your VS chip is an odd jurisdiction, multidenom chip and doesn't need changing unless it's keepi g you from doing something you want to do. In thos case it would probably either limit or expand the available player denomination settings. If you want a VFD display that is not split screen and just says play 2 coins or 3 coins or whatever your game uses, then go to a single denom 9xo or 11xo VS chip

im not going to set up it up as multi denom, but the vfd is not a split screen..it just says play 3 credits..its ok, but i dont really care for it, so, yes..im think im going to change it to a split screen when i get a few more chips for it...i like where it tells how much cash is left and how much was won
