wba 13 in an s2000 not working

have an s2000 that had a bad enhanced board. replaced board, and it cleared and set up ok. bill acceptor doesnt work. cycles on start up, but the ambulance lite is blinking.  its a hopperless game with a printer, set up for coinless, bill acceptor enabled, printer enabled.  it orig wouldnt cycle at all, but replacing the head with another head lets it cycle.  both the head and transport say id 24 .   i tried another from my other s2000, no good.   i then put that one back and now have a crc error in that machine! i'm stuck now on both of them

got rid of the crc error in the donor game. hit the jackpot key, test button, the door. who know but its gone . still have no validator working in the game i am trying to fix

Does the BV go through the complete cycle?
Did you check your credit limits?

does go thru cycle. didnt check credit limits but the orig problem is back.  it orig wouldnt boot up, would go right to blinking red led on mpu.  i must have booted it it 50 times with the new board, no problem. just went to try an autoconfig and its not booting again. same blinking red led. disconnected ballast and diff power supply, same problem( tried that before with the old board too) .  its the machine from hell

Dumb question but did you check to ensure any connection issues: MPU and enhanced boards seated properly, connectors on mother board, etc. ?

And, did you check your credit limits?
