I am trying to locate the update for my JCM DBV 200. I have searched all day with no luck.


Does anybody have the information for the following:

Checksum

You can look up information at the JCM website, I believe the protocol for WMS 4xx is IDO 045WP, in which case the last known updated was in 2006

DBV-200   SH   044WP/045WP   2.61-05   19F7  Dated 8-11-06

This updated covers up to NextGen $10, but does not include NextGen $5 or $100.  Your DBV can not be upgraded past this last update.

Because it is a gaming part, you are never going to find that on JCM's website.  One of our sponsors might be able to sell you an eprom with the program on it.  Please be advised that this site is continually monitored by gaming manufacturers, so according to our TOS, please refrain from asking about software bins or the like.  This site is very important to us home slot owners, and we don't want to give any entity an excuse to shut it down.

Thanks for this information about the JMC upgrade. I miss understood the instructions about JMC offering the files for download. After all they have a support/download section.


All help is greatly taken. I will order a upgrade threw a vendor/dist.

The download capability on the JCM website is for authorized folks that they grant permission to, like their field service reps, certain casino personnel, authorized repair shops, etc.  Those people get an account setup with JCM and a login password to use. Sadly it does not apply to hobbyists, home-owners and slot resellers. But their website does have helpful information about bill validator software such as the various releases and updates, what bills were covered, etc. It also has some manuals and documents you can download.
