I assume you are talking about a reel touch slot.  Don't the Reel Touch slots use an enhanced board??  Someone correct me if I am wrong as it has been a while since I had one..  You need a 1270???

Either works, there wasn't a specific MPU requirement for anything but R board games

Only issue is 504 is the only 500 series board that will work in a Reel Touch set up for non enhanced board. 504s actually tend to work better than 1270s when playing tunes while the reels are spinning. 1270s tend to end the tune before reels have stopped spinning.
