no display error

my 3 reel s2k triple diamond is not working!!!   reels wont stop spinning, 552 display on right side flashes " no display"  ive tried duplicating with another machine by disconnecting the vfd, then unplugging the 5 5 2 display.  all seems to be plugged in even on the motherboard...i have a very short video but its from my phone .3gp


again, any and all help is very appreciated!!!

MPU probably.  Try another MPU.  I had something similar happen on one of my S2000's that had a 504 board.  Since I didn't have another one, I wound up replacing it with an enhanced MPU and backplane.  Haven't looked back since.

Reels won't stop spinning??? Did you try opening the door while they are spinning and turning JP key? Then close and latch the door again.

yes, tried the key flick with the door open...reels did not stop spinning and making a terrible noise....vfd does not show anything after "passes self test"....am thinking the same thing about possibly a bad mpu..i will have to see if i can get another board to install....


in the mean time, any other ideas will be welcomed!!!

I would bet its the mpu. Had the same thing happen where it would not go past passes self test.
