WTS Bally Classsic K Serries slot Machine

I have a great condition Vintage Bally K series slot machine that i got From the Estate of the Owner of Games of Nevada When he past .
from what i was told this was one of his Personal Prototypes that they made specific for MGM Casino and it was the first Slant top Bally's ever made.and it has Zero on the meter's it is fully functional and looks great but i do not know what it is worth i also got lots of early original IGT manual with all of the Percentages and Program Chips reference guides. when he was contracted  thru IGT to build  some of there games.thank you tony

Hi Tony,
That is a Bally Classic, or otherwise known a the cash register.
I've had a few and they are not uncommon. Last one I sold was for $425.00 and that included the 100 Ike silver dollars the machine ran on. I did make sure that all the Ike's were not the pure silver.

There was one on ebay and I think it was $3500.00   seemed a tad high to me.  ive got 2 of these 1 that works great and the other was a parts machine, but after a close examination I think ill put it back together ..it needs reel glass and a coin chute...if I was to sell the one that's working, I think its worth $800.00  and that might be high but my 2 year old grandson can play it and my 77 year old seems to be enjoying it for the ease of handle pull..

400 to 500 is fair  ,but they aren't rare ,just were a lot of trouble  , I'll bet a bunch went to the dump,

 Your probably right , ive heard these were a problem. if a lot of them got scrapped, that's probably why people think they are rare..The first time I looked inside of mine I noticed the hubs that drive the reels were epoxied and sure enough they came apart within the first hour of play..i took the set off my other one and its been playing just fine ever since..I think I robbed some of the coin chute parts off of the other one too..im going to place an ad for wtb and see if any members have any parts for these..

These Machines were placed in the M.G.M. Grand in Reno, Nevada when they first opened.
The machines worked fine as a slot mechanic working their told me.

The 800 + machines just did not go over with the Public due to the location of the Handle.
As far as I recall when the M.G.M. Reno did not get the crowds they needed and when they
sold.

The Bally Classic Slot Machines were scrapped. Their are some floating around but not in significant numbers.
The machines were very operational and worked fine at the M.G.M.
Some machines made it to Arizona & then migrated to other states.
