IGT S2000 never To Old to Learn, I hope

Hello to All, My key chips should be arriving sometime this week but I've been told I can't experiment until after my wife's sister leaves as she's afraid and probably so that I may screw things up. I found a very detailed post from Foster dated May 15, 2012 (thank you) but just want to confirm a few things, we have a active printer and coin machine that will accept coins only but will not payout into the tray and I was told that is the way it is when the printer is enabled= True or False? If true then I have to disable the printer to have a coin payout so is there an extra step to have the machine do a coin payout since it already accepts coins as credits?

Other question is once coin payout is achieved then I most likely have to set a payout limit, no, yes? say $10 or $20

Simply put my main goal is to be able to go back and forth from printer (for a souvenir when someone else is playing the machine) to a cash payout when we are playing the machine

There are options in the menu so that you can choose your payout option. Once you hit cash out your display will give you the option of ticket only, and cash out.. I have had machines that I had the option of a split pay. If I remember correct when you set a payout limit, say 50 coins, the remainder would be printed out on a ticket.. I don't remember exactly where these setting are, but part is in a option section.. The one thing you need to watch is how the wording is in the setup section.. Some machines will ask about credits, the others in dollars.. For example if your machine asks in $$ and you want only $20, then enter $20.00, but if it asks about credits then you need to enter 80 credits.. 4 X $20 = 80 credits in quarters.

Thanks for your help and knowledge, I will see how things go in the not too distant future. Nice truck, I had a 47 Plym. Convt for 10 years but then decided to sell it. It is in someones barn museum in centeral Ohio enjoying it's golden years

Thanks. That truck was my dads back in the 70's. Then I got it after he passed in 75.. I did a complete rebuild in the 80's. Installed a small block V8 and auto trans. I drove it for 20 years and beat up old truck before finally deciding to do paint and chrome. Ended up selling it around 1994 for $5000, and still kick my self today for letting it go. Today it's worth about $20,000. That pictures from 1994-95. Oh almost forgot it's a 1950 3100 1/2 ton Chevy
