Mikohn standalone on BB

Who would like to explore the dark art of integrating a Mikohn ChamII+ into a BB1? Without using the Mikohn proprietary com converter board?  :Scratch-Head: It's my impression to first try a rs485 to RS232 adaptor. Yes I know others have tried and failed on this before, but I'm purely guessing that they used a typical passive inline translator, which is my thought too. Again this is purely speculation, but I think they forgot to power the inline translator, it has chips that require a power supply, typically provided by plugging them into a db9 PC serial port...the Bluebird has no such provision, so a custom harness is in order.


Let this not end in defeat.

If this doesn't work why is Mikohn listed as progressive type in games setup?
