New question about IGT GK upgrade

I wrapped the chrome on the sides but left the chrome bordering the monitor!


Really happy and this is the first time I’ve ever played with vinyl wrap... if any of you guys are considering it I would not hesitate to reccomend it.


This is literally $8 of material and about 2 casual evenings work while watching TV. There are plenty of how to videos on YouTube but I would suggest wrapping something small like a piece of wood to practice on so you know how the vinyl works!

It was literally just this roll, a heat gun and a pencil (for sideways squeegee style use - pressing down the corners / lines and pushing out any air bubbles)

Looks great!  Did you have to remove the deck buttons or cut around them? 

Hurt my back, but I got the machine back upright for you .

Lol and I’m very grateful for it!.


Took the buttons out first and then used a razor blade to cut the holes out.


It made sense to leave some overhang when cutting out the holes so you can’t see any gaps when you put the buttons back on.

That's what I thought too.  A lot of work, but it would look better for sure. 

Look out, now that you have it all fixed up it won't be long before another comes along...just the way it works  .
