Mikohn Stand Alone Progressive Controller J7, M and MS settings, and firmware

Hi,

The J7 jumper on Mikohn, I've seen people ask about the pinout on this jumper but dont think I saw any answer.
J7, with the controller in your lap, J7 at the bottom toward your belly, is top row, left pin, pin #1?   Is it Bottom Right?  Where is Pin 1?
Does the pin numbering go across or up and down the 2 rows of pins?

In PSP3, Jackpot Setup, there are 2 settings, F4 and F8.    F4 is M,   F8 is MS__

According to documentation I have read, I need to set to MS25 for my machine type.  But there is no mention of what to set M (F4) to.

How do I change the firmware on the controller and who has it?   Perhaps the firmware is too old to have my machine settings?

 ...if you are holding the cham II board so that the J7 is closest to you and the RS232 and display connectors to the right
