changing the maximum credits machine will hold/pay

I have finally resolved the issues after changing out the battery. and resolved the issue with the coin accepter.

Now I have a new Question.

When I use the bill acceptor it will accept bills up until I reach a maximum of 800 credits.
At that point the Bill Acceptor goes NOT READY and will not accept additional bills.
My machine has a label stating it will pay out up to 1000 coins.
I'm ok with only paying out 1000 coins, but how do I change the number of credits that the machine will allow
me to accumulate ?
I would like to be able to be able to accumulate at least 2000, and even more if possible so a jackpot
will not automatically pay out all my credits.

With the door open turn the jackpot reset key and select credit limit, crank it up as high as it will go.
