s 2000 Progressive Display

Hi
I have a S 2000 Round Top that has a Progressive Display board in the glass that is not connected to anything. I was curious as to what I have to connect it to, too make it lite up and work. Is it possible to make this a stand alone progressive machine or did it have to be connected to a bank of machines like at the casino. Also if it can be made into a stand alone, what settings in the key chip have to be made. Anyone have any pictures as to how that progressive board is connected?

Progressive displays are made by various manufacturers. A good clear picture of the back of your display will enable us to help you further. Ken @ Ohio Gaming is good with those among others on here.

Yes, pictures of the back of progressive and the inside of the top box. If it is a standalone unit it will need to be plugged into the netplex. Hopefully you have the cable for it and a power dist. board in the top box.

Your progressive display board is a Mikohn.

Also note that the smaller card on the display is not properly aligned and plugged in correctly. Pull the small card off and make sure you seat it correctly on the pins. That display will fry if you forget to do this and attempt to plug it in to a Mikhon stand alone controller.

Just a suggestion, it is a lot easier to program and use a netplex display than it is to use and program the Mikohn.  Take it from someone that has both.  If you going to go and spend the money on a mikohn display and are not going to link it to multiple machines, you are better off getting a netplex display.   The netxplex display is setup through the key menu on the s2000.  The mikohn requires a pc with a serial port and a crossover cable plus a program called PSP to program it, then you setup external progressive through key menu.
