Hopper Jam

Got this game not working. I replaced the battery and did what i think is a safe ram clear. I put bank 1 dip switches 6 7 8 to on  all other dip switches on both banks are off . Screen came up saferam clear enabled . turned key screen came up saferam has been erased please reset dip switches . please restart game .  i WAS NEVER ASKED TO PUT IN A CLEAR CHIP . game powers up have to do a calibration .. all games come up but i get game disabled hopper jam .. my hopper works if i push the buttons on the board also after turning game on . after 10 seconds or so it trips the top left circuit on the power supply . but it seems like everything still has power. please help ....THANKS
