S+ "Play 3 Credits" button not working

My "Double Rodeo" S+ "Play 3 Credits" button never lights up and does nothing even when I have 3 (or more) credits showing on the display.


Suggestions?

Have you checked to make sure the bottom of the button switch is plugged in all the way? Also those switch housings can get cracked very easily and the button may not be making a connection.

Upon further investigation I found a loose connection on one wire. I also found a connector that is disconnected and apparently has no mating cable. I've attached a photo of the connector and backside of the button.


Is this a phantom cable? If not where should to attach?

Should be a yellow wire that goes to the connector that has none I believe......

My machine that is like yours is wired just the same. The yellow wire is right below the open spade terminal. Mine is just like that. The open connector goes to the board that lights up for the bill validator. Since yours doesn't have one it's just hanging there.

Did you do as Shaggy suggested?
Does the machine work with the "bet 1" button?

The open connector goes to the board that lights up for the bill validator. Since yours doesn't have one it's just hanging there.

Thanks. With that information plus a new crimp connector on the loose wire and a new bulb, the button is working fine now.
