I-Deck Wrong Resolution Reported

I know this is a shot in the dark but - I have a newer ideck that has a problem reporting the correct resolution.   Upon boot it's elongated and effects the topper as well.   I've tried everything up to a 370 OS with a K2000 video card in a 2.0 cpu and it stills doesn't work properly.    Maybe the 2.1 cpu with the newer bios would fix it? I don't know?


For me, I have to boot up with my adjacent Alpha 2's ideck plugged into the mpu then hot swap the vga cables after the game starts to load.   


I've read on other forums that there is a way to fix this problem by a firmware upgrade.  if anyone has done or has ever seen this done I'd appreciate their knowledge.
