pot o gold (BBU config error) after all NOVRAM clear

Hello all.
this is a metal cabinet  upright Pot O Gold (Leisure Time)( U.S. Games) board T340+,  P/N 10-040 revA3. The game is#580f/r580sg04 The game was working except for BV.  I wanted to change % so I did a clear all NOVRAM. The game came up with BBU config change and reboots over and over every minute or so. Is there a procedure to stop it rebooting so that I can configure the game? I have a manual but it is minimal, and says BBU error will cause game to reboot and to contact manufacturer. Does any one know how to clear this and continue setup? Help  Please and thank you in advance. Joel
