IGT S+ setup option after clearing

Hello. I have a IGT S+ Hot Peppers slot machine i have cleared since i was stuck in the 61. The machine take 1 krone (Norwegian coin) and use SP1168 and SS4709. When i power up the machine the 61 coming up. Then i hold the white self test button in 2 sec  the 61-1 dont coming up

My opinion is that you did not clear it. Sounds like you are in the same 61 loop.


When you had the clear chip in - did you see the winner paid counting down ?

Yes. It's counting up 2 times. 1 to 254 and 2 to 999

Now i power up the machine the 61 coming up. Then i hold the white self test button in 2 sec the 61-1 don't shows. The reels spins and the insert coin light. In coins played Windows shows 0.

Did you try inserting some coins ?

Yes. And the machine accepted the coins like it should

Could the be the SP1168 chip do that i can get the 61-1 code after i have cleared the machine? What type are the SP1168

Type information is not available for SP1168, we don't have the document for it. Perhaps someone has it and can provide it.

It is difficult to understand what the problem is the way you are describing it. The machine had error 61, you did a ram Clear and now the machine still show error 61?? Please explain fully what the machine is doing or not doing. The SP1168 is a chip we don't see or know much about, maybe IGT only used it on European machines. Could your problem simply be something like the door optics not working?
