LED light panel not working

My recently purchased Big Bang Piggy Bankin slot has an issue with the led lights that show credit/win-tilt codes.  When I first got it this issue existed, have a light push on the wire harness the issue was resolved.  When I started it today same issue again occurred but this time the wire push didn't help.  The machine powers on, dot screen displays Williams for about a minute then goes blank, no audible pong,reels don't spin.  Any thoughts as to what is happening would be great.  Thanks.

I would look at the power supply in the lower cabinet for bulging caps and recap power supply.  If there are no bongs or anything, your machine is not completing the boot process which is usually power related.  The Dot display has it's own power supply that uses AC 120, that's why it still works.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking.  I dropped the card cage and only see two of the five lights are on.  Wonder if I should just attempt to do the power supply switch.

Opened up the PS, only Cap I could see that appears different is the c7, has a light brown haze on it compared to the others.  Does anyone know of hand if this perhaps directly leads to the led panel?  I've read over the PC PS conversion and not really being a electronics guy would prefer not to attempt yet.

That's a filter cap.  There's a power supply "nested" within the big power supply enclosure.  It is usually the part that goes bad (it provides 5 and 12 volts). It is usually a "condor" branded power supply.  Touch the cap tops on that, the ones with the silver inner circles.  They should be flat, if any of them feel bumpy, they are bad.  If you are not good at replacing caps, you can buy that piece and replace the one that is there.  Pretty easy, should be 4 screws or so and the 2 connectors that go into it.
