Hi

I am wondering if anyone or if anyone knows anyone who has any IGT S2000 Double Diamond round top 5 Paylines Play 75 credits glass? The slot repair person broke the top glass when fixing the machine

Wouldn't getting you another glass be the responsibility & problem for the repair person that broke it? That's the way it was at the place I worked.

They said that they looked but couldn't find it, what they said for me to do is to take a picture of the glass and they will use it to make another piece of glass, My little worry is that it may come out pixilated

Who was your slot repair person, or company? They should be responsible for replacing this glass OR giving you the money to buy a replacement glass.

Thank you so much for offering the glass and I'm wondering how much is it?

The company did say that they couldn't find the glass and they said to take a photo of it so that they could re make it, however, I would also like to have another backup piece of glass like the one pictured above by Ken

i have only ever broken a customers glass twice. first time was because of a faulty holder in the top box, second was because the belly door didn't fully latch and it fell open onto something. the firs one i got lucky and had the glass in my rack the second time however i looked for a month before replacing the entire kit with a game the customer liked better anyway. the point im getting at is reproduction glass is not the same as an original piece and it should be the shop on here trying to fix the there problem not you. i did check my rack i don't have that glass.

and for those curious in the last 7 years i have broken 6 pieces out of my own inventory all were actually in the same day. i picked up 30 machines off a casino and for some reason the casino took the screws out of the glass holders of all of them. i lost a haywire, 2 random 4 reeler kits, a 5x pay, a 10x pay, and i think a 5 reel double diamond.

Sounds like the casino wanted this to happen? Either that or they had a new person pulling the player tracking stuff and just forgot to put those two screws bad in.

Bummmer that that happened, was any of the glass extreamly rare to find? I also noticed that two of the screws were missing on the glass holder thing on my machine too, and thank you for checking your rack

The glass broke when the repair person closed the door and the glass holder apparently wiggled loose and the glass fell onto the floor

Just received the glass today from Ken and I am screaming with so much joy and excitement right now

Now be SUPER CAREFUL installing these. They can slip easily! Have someone help you and keep a hand on them while you put them in.
Or is the technician coming out to do this?

You might find your self taking in and out a couple times to adjust the players tracking bracket it sits on. If itâ€™s tilted too far forward your glass will be loose and too far bad the glass wonâ€™t fit in behind the tabs. I have had to bend the bracket a little after they are screwed down to get the glass to fit just right. Then make sure your mounting screws are still tight.

Just got the new glass in and does it look like it is in good enough?

Made sure it was seated on the player trackers bracket and made sure that it slid into the top
