S+ DBV issues on 2 machines

So I started with triple Diamond working fine, and a new Moolah not.  With some help here I got Moolah to run bad CC ordered a new one (used the one from DDD)


So I got out my set 15 and turned on the BDV and set the value as set in the paper work seemed to work fine.  61 reset 61-1 JP and away she went.  Issue all light up to take bills however takes this in and sends them back.  these are bills I've used many times in DDD.
So looked inside the DBV and it looks clean and almost new.  So I swapped it out with DDD, wouldn't worked I did the set 15 on it. 
So I put everything back and now DDD doesn't get the DBV light,  both work with coins.

Ok cleaned both DBV's and now I have triple diamond working  :propeller:


I wonder as I don't have a CC installed waiting on order, that could be the issue?

Is this a DBV-145 or DBV-200 that’s not working? The 145 is a gold color and the 200 is black.

Does the CC have the coin optic board installed below it?Is the optic board plugged in?

I had a bad cc so I have it ordered so once I get that I'm going to see if that resolves. I was swapping it back and forward between the 2. 
So fore now I'm calling it solved and if I have something new I'll go from there.
Thanks badbaud for your help I think cleaning the plugs may have been the issue.

I’m guessing the capacitor is bad on the circuit board inside your comparitor. Keep us posted.

Make sure the sensitivity adjustment is fully counter clockwise.
