I think we need to find out what more about your strip part numbers, just to run that down. Your part numbers are not the same as the other 2 members that posted about their Cleopatra strips. It could be something minor but who knows. The guys at Sunkist may have a list of IGT strip part numbers since they make reproduction strips all the time. Maybe your contact there can check on what the difference is between your 84674500 strips and the other Cleopatra strips that are 84662900.

It's fishy to me that the back of the strips are all white and that they are .25 smaller.  I was under the impression that by the time cleo came out, all 5 reel machines were backlit, and thus they would have had the backlight treatment (black masking with translucent area where the backlighting goes through).  His S2000 seems to be a made up machine as it has the vision top (no speaker ears), but yet it has the correct payline stepper lightbox with the amount of coins bet per line.  I don't believe his strips are oem and thus the sizing issue.  To my knowledge there have only been two reel types for the 5 reel machines.  The wider strips (usually led backlit, although I have seen wide strips with regular xenon bulbs) and the older narrower strips with the xenon backlights.  If there was some other type of reel, it would have been a smaller circumference to accommodate his reel strips, but I see no reason why IGT would have made something that.

Side note to 45 credit Cleo users:  use SB100104 for much better sound.  It was recalled so can be hard to find unless you know who has em...

YES.  your strips are not made right.  You want strips starting in 8466.

So Mike from Sunkist doesn't know about the part numbers.  He's going to check and see if he has cleopatra strips .  Is there anywhere I can get some that are made to the correct specs..? Used or something like that?

Thanks Jim those are about exactly the same length as the ones I have.. I think about 1/4 inch too short... Maybe the backlit are longer? I think the beginning numbers should be 8466 ?

Sunkist replied with a jpg file and dimensions.. they have the correct order of the symbols and the strips at 29.375 long X 1.953 wide which seems correct.  Numbers on the strips don't have the 8466. But all else seems correct.  $135 plus shipping..

Strange, one of leocat168's strips is 84674500 (reel #5)? But Jim's set has 84674200 twice and no 84674500.

wasn't sure it was a complete set, that's why I put the question mark after the second strip, 4500 is probably correct, seems logical. just wanted to get what information I had out there.

I know it’s a lot of $$ at $135 plus Shipping but you would have brand new backlit strips. It’s almost a no brainer. Better the faded yellowing reel strip. But this is just my opinion.. 🤔

Is this something that leocat168's machine would be able to use? Besides having better sound did it cause any problems that caused it to get recalled by IGT?

Yeah I'm gonna bite the bullet and go with Sunkist for new strips.. one of the things I like about the machine is the bright colors.. new strips backlit properly will look great!  I'm just waiting on some details and then putting the order in. Hoping they are correct.....
So are you saying there's something I can do for my machine for better sound !?
