Hi,

I am looking for a Mikohn Cham 4 (also known as Cham 44). This is first generation stuff that works with a Mikohn CON1 to display progressive amounts on a large over head sign.

No the supreme uses the con2 to drive it.

I thought you would just use a Cham2 down in each machine to drive the progressives in each and then separate wiring to the super to add to a progressive there.
never built a topper for this unit.

Thank you. But I am kind of invested in the old stuff....


I have 3 S+ slots and a PE+ video poker.
I run a con 1 with 3 mikohn LED5 boards and displays in each of the slots.
I modified my reel cage and player tracking bar to accommodate.
For the PE+ I am running a mikohn gateway board to display the jackpot amount on the screen.
In the slots I also have the IGt progressive 5 digit display as the secondary progressive.
Over Head I have a 1x2 (1 board high 2 wide) for a 32” display with a large video poker plexy surround.
This is driven by the Cham44 board.
I also have a 2 x 8 sign (10.5 feet long) over my bar also run by a cham44
This started its life as one of those round displays hanging overhead in casino royale as a 1x10 and I hacked the chip to display to 2x8. I found out by trial and error that you can support up to 16 boards in most any configuration ie 4x4  but the best you will get is double high (2 panel) characters.


The big sign uses 3 power supplies to drive it and my last cham4 spare just gave up the ghost.


I had a con2 for a while and a couple Cham II (non plus) but I ended up donating it to Joey with the proceeds to go to the NLG hosting.

That’s the Led5 - link extension device. (Cham1)
I use those in the individual slots. I have 2 spare.
