Two IGT S2000 machines with power and message issues

Hello Guys,

I am looking to buy a set of 3, IGT S2000 machines from a very respectable private party. They are in excellent condition and very well taken care of. One machine is without issue.

#1) The "Double Cherry" has a message showing I have not seen before and does not play, (see pic for message). He said it use to work perfectly.

#2) The "Super Lucky Times Pay" has no lights on and won't play. He says it happened when the "Cash Out" was pushed on a handpay amount. That makes no sense to me but maybe a coincidense.

I just wanted to know what I'm getting myself into. Any thoughts or idea's?

You might want to pull the mpu boards out and look them over for battery leakage from the green Varta battery.

on the double cherry machine, it could be the power supply located behind the reels, this is a typical repair for a "netplex" down prompt this is the easy fix,  could be more complex?

the other machine,  make sure the power cord didn't could loose in transit, if its in tight, then the problem could be the power supply in that machine, or the electronic ballast in the machine could be pulling one of the supply voltages down.

One problem, I don't own or possess these machines yet. I do however, intend to pass all of this info on to the seller. I just want to avoid buying problems. If they are easy enough to fix myself I'm not worried but when it gets into buying new boards and so on the deal starts to lose my interest. I'll have to play this one by ear. I'd like to see these machine repaired and operable before I make the purchase and take possession.
