WTB IGT S2000 Vision Slingo and Pinball

Good afternoon. I recently discovered this website while searching for 2 specific machines. I'm not at all knowledgeable about slot machines so I did a Google search and it actually took me to this site. But. unfortunately, the ad was posted a few years ago. The machines I'm looking to buy are both IGT S2000 Vision. One is Slingo and the other is Pinball. I will try to attach pictures of the 2, if I am able to. In fact, the one picture is from the ad posted in these classifieds. Aside from that posting here, I have never seen the Slingo for sale anywhere else. I appreciate any help I can get.

There are a number of IGT Vision machine fans here, hopefully someone can give info about the machines you are looking for.

Yes it is possible if you can find all the parts.

Yes, that is what I did when I converted one of my machines.  You need the game kit (glass, strips, SB and SG chips and PC card), plus the top monitor with wiring harnesses and brackets.

IGT used the game name "Slingo" on different models of machines. The Vision models are based on the S2000 platform. The Slingo machine in the ebay auction you linked is an I-Game machine. So you can't make a Vision machine out of it.

I'm afraid that particular NLG person with the Slingo Vision machine has become inactive. What about the Pinball machine mentioned in post #9 above? Is that one of the 2 machines you said you are interested in?

Another plan would be to get an S2000 Vision machine with any game that you like and begin enjoying it while you look for a Vision Slingo or Pinball game kit, or the individual parts needed to do the game conversion.

That question and idea comes up a lot as a way to "legalize" an illegal machine. You will see people selling machines on ebay and they say it is setup for tokens only, no coins. I think that's an ebay policy to try to be compliant with various US state laws. But as far as I know if your state says machines made after a certain date are illegal then they are illegal not matter what. No exceptions. What many people have found is that if you aren't running an illegal casino out of your home, if you don't advertise gambling at your house, if you don't let people lose money and then keep it, etc, then you aren't likely to get a visit from the authorities. But it's possible. A lot depends on the whim of the local DA office or Chief of Police.

Best advice is to not attract a lot of attention to the fact that you have a slot machine.

Take a trip and pick it up. Renting a house is quite expensive. I have driven 800 miles, stayed the night in a hotel then 800 miles back. A road trip is always fun. 12 hours to Kentucky, then back for a Playboy Machine

If I found the machine that I'm looking for, I would have no problem driving to go get it!!!

Wanted to thank you for coming through in a big way!! I have been wanting this game for 15 years, and had pretty much given up all hope in finding one! Even though it’s been at least 5 years since I’ve played Slingo (Caesar’s in Atlantic City had just 1 game on their floor) it’s exactly the way I remember it! I got to play the Slingo bonus, in less than 15 spins after you left that day! Anyway, thanks again! I will be checking out your site once in a while to check out what else you may have.
