WTB BB2 cabinet with what ever game

so i am looking for my first BB1 or BB2 or BB3 slot machine, i have never owned a WMS machine before
problem is i dont know which platform to get


bb1 of course is cheaper, but would want to run some of the newer games possibly, although 2 of the games i would want to start out with is thai treasures and super jackpot party


will a bb2 run those


is there a compatibility chart of which games will run on which platform ie will bb1 games run on bb2 and vice versa


** changing this to a WTB BB2 cabinet of course working with ticket printer,bv etc. prefer left over player tracking if it is there, would like to have super jackpot party installed or thai treasure, if not let me know a list of games i can get on bb2 and ill convert to SJP later,

Thai Treasures and Super Jackpot Party both run on bb2 and bb1.  I would get a bb2 cabinet at this point.  It is an easy upgrade to bb3 (MPU and power harness) and also an easy bb1 step-down (MPU and standard button panel plus button harness to backplane).

if i am correct is there an adaptor or do i change out the main board to run the eprom based games on a bb2

BB1 & BB2 both use CF cards.

BB1 & BB2 both use CF cards.

The very first generation BB1 machines used eproms down below and cf card in top box. That was way back on the BB1 that used the "Snapdragon" processor unit. You probably won't run across these early models, but wanted to make sure they are known about. After that WMS went to cf cards for software on subsequent Bluebird machines.

BB3 (CPUNXT3.x) is the next generation for WMS after BB2 (CPUNXT2), it does not run BB2 games.  Like previous WMS machines, the BB2 cabinet was used originally with a bb3 mpu at the beginning, then wms came out the blade cabinet which is what they now use for their bb3 platform (well now they are part of Scientific Games).  So if you get a BB2 cabinet with a bb2 mpu, you can buy a bb3 mpu+power harness+Emotive controller and run bb3 (Blade) games on your "upgraded" bb2 cabinet.
